Omega Joists has been manufacturing open web steel joists for over 20
years. Plant and head office are located in Nisku, Alberta-Canada , with
approximately 42,000 sq. ft. of fabrication area under hook.
Omega is one of the largest joist fabricators in Canada, with annual
manufacturing capacity in excess of 12,000 tons. Omega steel joists,
manufactured in Nisku, Alberta, are distributed across Canada and to some
overseas and United States markets through its facilities located in central
Manitoba, mid-west Alberta and western British Columbia.
Omega's in-house Professional Engineers and qualified steel joist detailers
utilize the latest computerized design and drafting technology together with
its certified fabricators to produce a top quality product - that has no
compromise in quality.
The Product
Omega Open Web Steel Joists are fabricated from high strength cold formed chord
sections and hollow structural web members. Each joist is computer designed and
fabricated to offer maximum service while maintaining economy of
standardization and repetition. Special depths, cambers and paints or paint
systems can be provided at additional costs.
